plus roadies extreme:
Jahir Garde & Ox Accelerator

DAY 1: Wednesday 8 November
Ivo picked us up at my place. Ox and Jahir had slept over, and Kelvin was already there to pick up his sleeping bag. We drove to Marino, who lives around the corner, and off we went. First stop was Kortrijk, Belgium, hometown of Teenage Head ceo Manny. The good man was busy setting up a tour for us and Johnie 3 in March 2007, and was in need of some Apers promo material. Cheap as we are, we decided to drop it off, instead of mailing it out. After Kortrijk, we drove in the direction of Paris. Marino loves the ringroad, and since there was no official driver for this tour (Thanks Cals!), the three original band members had to take turns. We kinda got lost but managed to find the right road. Around 6 o clock we arrived in the city of Tours, where I had booked a cheapo hotel. Bandmembers in the beds, roadies on the floor, you know the deal.
All checked in, we went to look for pilsners. The hotel was located in an industrial area of the city, so there wasn't much choice. Luckily we found a nice small brasserie, where they served food and drinks. First we had some beers. Then Kelvin, Ox and Jahir went to Mc Donalds, but the old, wise men decided it was time to eat French food. Wine was served, bread with mustard and all that jazz. Nice touch.
Finally, around 11, when the others had already returned and most of us were kinda tipsy, the Zatopeks arrived. Leadsinger Will de Niro was missing, but his brother Sam, bassplayer, would take over on vocals. We had some bottles of wine with the amigos, and when the brasserie closed, we just bought some more wine and took it to our cheapo hotel. It was about 3 o clock when i crawled up the stairs. It had been a good day.

DAY 2: Thursday 9 November
This stay started really early and unpleasant, since it was the fire alarm that woke us up. Some heroes like Marino and Sam from the Zatopeks went to see what was up, some people like myself and Kelvin, stayed in bed and Ox didn't even wake up. Ivo, the man that can not be woken up by any alarm clock, jumped out of his bunk bed, and into the shower. I tried to tell him, that it was only 7 in the morning, but he was going crazy washing his ass. When I woke up 4 hours later, Ivo was sitting in the small restaurant area, reading a book.
Team Aper drove to a big French supermarket for some food. When we returned to the hotel, the Zatopeks were awake too, but now they wanted to go to the supermarket too. Fuck it, we would meet them somewhere before Bordeaux.
